Build Log – Week 1
April 13, 2025This log marks the beginning of our open build journey.
We're developing two products under Oz Pre Alpha:
AbracadabraSports
AbracadabraSports is a platform built for amateur sports event organizers, with a focus on enabling high school and college broadcast students. A functional MVP is already complete and could support early users today. However, reaching competitive parity and scaling beyond that will require a full team and roughly a year of sustained engineering effort.
My next priority is integrating enterprise-level event streaming infrastructure. This system needs to be robust, cost-effective, and capable of handling real growth while keeping the platform as close to free as possible. That's non-negotiable.
OTRChat
OTRChat is still in the early stages of development. It's designed as a geo-channelized communication tool—a modern alternative to CB radio for truckers and over-the-road professionals. There’s more market research to be done, but the concept is solid. Development will be mobile-native, and once foundational infrastructure is in place, the engineering team can begin.
What’s Needed
Both products require far more than code to succeed:
- Business development to shape go-to-market strategy
- Customer support to create a feedback loop
- A talented engineering team to scale and maintain
- Operational infrastructure to keep it all running
At present, I'm handling architecture, infrastructure, and product design. My approach is to build only what’s essential myself, then delegate execution to the right people. I'm actively looking to onboard interns and collaborators who want meaningful projects on their resume and are hungry to work on real problems.
Why Stealth?
This log is part of a long-term play. We're not hiding WHAT we're building, , we're in stealth to stay focused. This is a public checkpoint. More to come.
